Focus on One

It’s easy to get distracted these days – this is an understatement, of course. Your mind is racing from one thing to another, then you go online and end up in places you never even planned to be in the first place.

Today I want you to:

  1. Decide on one thing you’d like to improve in your life or business
  2. Write it down on somewhere where you’ll be able to see it
  3. Let your creative sub-conscious focus on this throughout the day, then, in the evening, write down all the ideas that you came up with as a result

Smell the roses!
Today:
1) Open your car window, smell the air and take notice of all that life buzzing around you
2) Help another human being or at least plan to do so in the near future
3) Catch up with someone, who inspires you (old friend or maybe someone new)

We all have to fight for our place in this world

“We all have to fight for our place in this world,” said Ronan Keating recently to one of the contestants on x-factor (Australia).

This is so true! It makes no difference how talented or awesome you are, if you don’t have that hunger and conviction to go after what you want, then you might as well give up now.

I am a big believer in that the one who gets the prize, is the one that wants it the most.

Having said that, these are my daily 3:

  1. Create a daily habit of reminding yourself of the ‘why’ - what’s driving you? Why are you pursuing this?
  2. Don’t lose sight of the big picture when the going gets tough (and it will)
  3. In the beginning, you gotta do more, be more, stay up later, connect more, make yourself stand out, learn, read, listen, establish your identity, tell the world who you are and what you have to offer
